Hello. I am a social scientist who works at the University of York. I specialise in embodied human interaction and technology. I particularly interested in the way we might think of human interaction as a form of dance. This comes from an early career in performance and as a ballroom dance teacher. I currently teach about, and research, contemporary technologies, such as Twitch and Soundcloud, and am interested in the ways they change society and human interaction. I am also keenly interested in robotics and human embodiment.
